Introducing…Sarah Catterick
20th July 2011Hello Flagship watchers. I’ve recently joined the team as an Account Manager. I’m from North Yorkshire via Geordieland, where I took a Business and Marketing degree at Newcastle Business School, which involved a year’s placement at market research specialists TNS.
Up till now – I’ve worked in PR for three years – most of my clients have come from the professional services sector, particularly lawyers. I’ve managed communications programmes for national firms and barristers’ chambers and I want to continue working in this area, but not exclusively. I’m looking to broaden my experience and that’s why Flagship is the perfect fit: professional services is one of its key strengths, but it draws its clients from a range of business sectors.
Away from work, I’d say theatre is my great love; it’s got so much more to offer than the movies. I’m a Shakespeare nut, but I’ll draw the line at the Titus Andronicus bloodfest and I’m not too keen on Romeo & Juliet.
I have one guilty secret. Well, one guilty secret I’m prepared to share with you. In fact, I’m rather proud of it. I achieved the Gold Award on the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme without being able to read a map!
