Flagship takes time for a cuppa
11th February 2011Flagship held its second Time for a Cuppa fundraising cake sale on 7 February, raising more than £100 for Dementia UK by selling our hand baked creations in the reception of The Media Centre, Bolsover Street.
I work for Dementia UK on a Pro Bono basis and last year helped them devise the concept of a national ‘tea break’ inspired fundraising day, to raise awareness of and funds for the charity.
It’s great to see the Time for a Cuppa Day firmly establish itself in the national charity calendar with tea parties and cake sales taking place up and down the country. Taking a break, having a cuppa and buying a cake is an easy and fun way to raise money for charity and everyone at Flagship really got into the spirit of the occasion.
