Looking to the future – an alliance that crosses boundaries
26th October 2011As an agency we have been looking to the future and considering the services, skills and expertise we need to offer our clients so their communications are current and help them have those all powerful persuasive conversations.
Which is why we are excited to announce a strategic partnership we believe will allow us to expand our client offer (see press release on Peppercom) and deliver communications programmes that make a real difference.
A priority for us was to work with an agency that was like-minded, had a similar work ethic and approach to excellence in client servicing. Today it is crucial to think beyond our own small island; communications are instant across the world and for many of our clients we needed to look beyond our key European markets. Increasingly we have been asked by clients for representation in the USA and so I am pleased that our relationship with Peppercom, with offices in New York and San Francisco, means we can support client needs from East to West coast and through Peppercom around the world.
Whilst Peppercom is, like Flagship, a public relations consultancy at its core, it has a broader marketing communications approach and of appeal to us was being able to tap into its exciting creative services. Digital and social media are a core part of our programmes today; but these communication channels involve a greater degree of visual and creative design input and Peppercom’s creative team will now help us build websites and create whole social media campaigns that embrace everything from content to coding.
Peppercom’s client mix is similar to ours with a spread of consumer and business-to-business clients; it has some great brand names such as TGIFridays and Whirlpool, market leading professional and financial services clients, as well as technology leaders to whom we are being introduced. We have already started to share market knowledge and innovative ideas that will only benefit our clients.
And in today’s fast moving markets data is king, which is why we are also excited to offer Peppercom’s sophisticated business intelligence reports, as well as its innovative approach to licensing and client experience programmes.
Our clients are as excited as we are about this new relationship and the phones and inboxes have been buzzing with questions, congratulations and new opportunities. There is no doubt that the concept of being able to truly deliver global and integrated campaigns has real traction, and doors that previously may have been closed are being thrown open.
For the Flagship team it is exciting to be able to draw upon a larger pool of talent, to be challenged to think differently, to think internationally and to tap into new services that will allow us to fulfil our clients’ demands for the most effective programmes that make a real difference to the bottom line. We trust this excites you too.
