Entrepreneurialism needs promoting within all businesses
20th July 2011Public relations programmes are essential for those with an entrepreneurial spirit. Businesses that communicate brave new ideas and opinions capture media interest. Our latest newsletter examines the role and make-up of the entrepreneur and we take a look at how to give a voice to the entrepreneurial spirit within corporates.
As you’ll see, we’ve also developed communications services dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and start-ups to make more noise.
Entrepreneurs have always been the drivers of the national economy. They’re the risk-takers and the innovators; individuals who, whatever the business climate, are prepared to grab an opportunity and make things happen. They’re the front line troops in economist Joseph Schumpeter’s army of ‘creative destroyers’.
And, contrary to popular opinion, entrepreneurialism can be compatible with, and flourish in, the corporate world; it just takes a little more willingness and, perhaps, more bravery for corporates to stick their heads over the parapet. Should your business be braver in promoting itself?
As part of our ongoing research and development into the communication challenges facing growing businesses and entrepreneurs, we’re planning a roundtable debate on ‘Entrepreneurial Britain – what’s driving innovation?’.
