A Recipe for Thought Leadership
24th March 2011This is one of the best ways to put together a simple recipe for a thought leadership campaign. Adding the fresh data gives the thought leadership a real kick and helps it develop its full flavour. This recipe is so powerful it will make that thought stay top of mind for a long time and everyone will want a slice of it!
Ingredients:
1 large fresh thought
A large amount of expertise
Freshly prepared data
A handful of innovation
First, prepare the large fresh thought by carefully laying it out and examining it. Trim off any unnecessary bits which might detract from it. Next add in as much expertise as possible so that the thought develops substance and flavour and starts to take on an interesting look and feel.
Now prepare the data. This should be fresh and new so that it enhances the thought as well as supporting and validating it. If you do not have any fresh data it is well worth commissioning some from a reputable research company.
Next add in the handful of innovation. This can be anything from a new process to a new way of delivery.
Now mix all the ingredients together apart from the fresh data which you should put to one side. The thought should be starting to take shape. The expertise should be clearly visible with the innovation rising strongly from middle, creating a strong and powerful impression.
Finally, make sure you present the new thought in the most attractive way possible. Place it in on a large but appropriate media platform. Surround it with the freshly prepared data to give it a really interesting look and feel and that extra sizzle.
Sprinkle it with something that gets attention to taste and serve immediately!
