Eleven of the UK’s leading workplace design companies participated in ‘Designers Saturday’ by throwing open the doors of their showrooms to designers, architects and their families.
Each showroom had its own theme (e.g. ‘Home Sweet Home’ and ‘Make Way for the Millennials’), as well as featuring new product ranges, one-off exhibits and workshops with industry experts. Visitors were transported around the showrooms by ‘Designers Saturday’ branded minibuses and rickshaws.
Flagship’s PR event planning team breathed new life into ‘Designers Saturday’, a much-loved event for the architecture and design community which had occurred regularly in the 1970s and 1980s. We rebranded the event, undertook its marketing, promotion and registration, handled the logistics and facilitated the two-day extravaganza, which included a treasure hunt, competitions and hospitality at each of the showrooms.
